I've got 18 more days till poc and honestly other than the fact that my pay is marvelous, I'm not looking forward to serving at all. Well that's what serving means right. I don't really have a choice so the best thing to do for the next one and a half month is to do my best and not get myself into trouble.

Blessed Ramadan

Tomorrow will be 3 months into NS.
it's fasting month and I got to admit that things are going a little bit slower than usual.Not complaining though,I thank God for this blessed month.
Anyway its BAPT this Wednesday and IPPT on Friday. Pray hard for me guys!
Its 5 more weeks before I jump onto senior term, better start pushing myself to get that silver badge.
Sigh booking in soon.
I hate this feeling.
Well its 4 more months before 1 day work 2 days off routine begins.

It's the 7th July today, and Ridzwan has officially booked into camp this morning. Things would be a lot different from how the past holiday had been, but I'm sure he'll make it through just fine :)

He might be booking out on Friday! Hahah that's only a few days to go! Hopefully that'll make his week :D

crash and burn

I dreamt that I was driving my dad's car to fetch some of my relatives and friend(s). I was coming out from the filter lane to join the expressway when I saw on my right view mirror, a pick-up truck. So I decided to accelerate after judging that the distance between us was quite safe. However after successfully joining the expressway I can't seem to want to slow down. In fact I did quite the contrary and speed up while negotiating in and out of the traffic like a mindless drunk idiot! Because everything was seen in a first person view, I also experienced motion blur and as I came to an exit which I thought was the right one, I sped up some more and at the very last moment when I actually realised that it was the wrong exit, I turned the steering wheel to the right and hit the filter lane's divider head on..

It's extremely frightening la, this kind of dreams(nightmares) especially for a below novice driver. Well not to worry, it just shows that I need to be more careful and not go for 'cheap thrills' like this.

Mental

Watched the Junior World Cup Champs at Sengkang yesterday. Crazy fellows! Makes me feel like wanting to join hockey and play like them but that's just crazy talk. I know i can never play like that or play hockey at all and that's fact! heheh gotta find some other things that i'm good at besides track and slack =P hmm rock climbing or canoeing sounds fun but I'm afraid of heights and water.shit -__-"

It's less than a month before I enter National Service and develop into a "Singaporean man." Heck, I'm not going to talk about that now. We'll just see how it goes la next month. If you can find me at home by the end of the week that means i'm still okay or else the next closest place you can go to is the IMH (institute of mental health). Man, I'm going to miss MadTv and especially Bobby Lee.

Damn, insurance are freaking expensive.

Pondering..

Thursday's match was awesome! Although they were beaten by 2 goals. SA gave a good fight and it was worth going all the way down to Delta just to watch it. I think dear really played well that day-her hits and stopping were good, focus was there and she was definitely more aggressive! Okay I'm being bias here but I don't care. That's what I'm suppose to do, right? Heheh I'm proud of you dear =))

I've got a confession to make. I put on a hell lot of weight lately. Used to be 61kg back in sec 4 and after 3 years (now), I've put on 9kg! Hahah you do the math la, I really suck at it.

I'm posting a music video here. The history behind this song happened when I was in sec 3 or 4. The song starting spreading like wild fire after a group of us started singing it when they came back from a competition trip in Thailand. What struck me to share it with you is that it's actually a nice song. Something like a one-hit-wonder.Again I'm telling you this, I'm not going to force you to click the play button but if you have to, please turn on your speaker and sub woofer up and dance along to the beat.

The Final Countdown

Dear is going to play her finals on Thursday. I pray and hope that she will do her best that day and put all distractions aside. I can't stop thinking about the match without getting myself excited as well. I guess I miss competing and the feeling of adrenaline rushing through my veins every time before the start of a race. Oh well, I guess my 'glory' days are over. It's time to move on and find something else that is more of my cup of tea.

I'm In Love

Generally people don't bother playing the youtube videos that other people post on their blogs. Well at least I know I don't. Anyway this song has been stuck in my head for around 5 to 6 years already. It must be super meaningful to be stuck in my head for a very long time huh? Wrong answer. It just repeats itself over and over and over again. I take back my word. I think it is meaningful if it wasn't repetitive. The 19th

I turned 19 just two days ago.How time flies..One moment you're talking about how NS is going to be like and now I'm actually waiting for my turn to be enlisted. It's nice to look back at the past once in a while but what's more important is to look ahead, sometimes far far ahead. I'm grateful to Him for blessing me with friends and loved ones to support me through my life's journey.

Spent the entire Sunday out with Iqah. I feel so pampered cause she was being such a dear and I was treated to everything. Finally had my tissue prata and went to the Botanical Gardens for the first time in my life. It was the perfect place to have a picnic and just enjoy one anothers company. We had Rites pizza there and then a NICE long walk to the main gate and took a bus to town. After Zohor we walked to Cash Studios and had a 3 hr long session killing our voices. InsyaAllah next time we're going to play pool :) We had to rush home after that cause it was getting late and we were both drained from the days activities. I wish I could find words to describe my feelings but I can't. I guess the closest word to Sunday was..perfect.

The Health Regime

I'm not sure what happened to me yesterday. My mind was all 'crazy and weird' and I still have no clue to what the cause of this haywire is. Hmm it might be from watching the butterfly effect movies? But I'm pretty sure it wasn't =/ oh well what ever the reason is, I did make someone happy and excited =))

Been working out since 3 weeks ago. Trying out a general fitness programme I prescribed myself to prepare myself better, physically for my enlistment this coming july. I can say that I do see improvements if not minor ones. It's a positive sign if you take into account that I've been living the life of a couch potatoe for the last 8 months(?) yeah so if you feel like shedding those fats or simply want to put aside that lazy ass lifestyle, just meet me opposite the pasir ris wafer fab everyday at 5pm =D

I miss riding. In fact I've not been riding for the past 5 months now..But I know that I won't be touching another bike for the next few years. That sucks.

Day Before,Yesterday and Tomorrow..

So the day before yesterday "I went out with Iqah to..." the Marina Barrage. Well something 'coincidental' happened and we (okay it was her) had to make some changes..It was hilarious! We had dinner after that at City Hall I think(?) and went home straight after (yeah right!!) ;)

Yesterday was great cos I think for the first time I got to give Yusof a surprise advance birthday celebration! Seriously I didn't think it was going to work out but Alhamdulliah everything went according to plan :) He's already twenty now la and from the looks of it he's ready to step into manhood. InsyaAllah he'll have a accomplished life as well as the hereafter.Amin!

Tomorrow will be a milestone for Iqah cause it'll be her first, divisional match and I'm going to be there to support! wowowo! =P

My FIRST Batam trip

Tonight?

Have you ever heard the story about ns men who before experiencing a spiritual 'encounter' will be given signs? There's one story whereby a guy in camp while cleaning his bed and locker found strands of long hairs. Mind you this guys are all botak. And that very night he saw a figure sitting opposite him staring him with its long hair..Yup I've heard this story being told almost three times already. What bothers me is that I felt something on the back of my neck not ten minutes ago and when i went to grab it turned out to be a long strand of hair..

I do have a sister with long hair but she's in school all day long and rarely comes to my room to see the hamster which is at the other end of the room.

Iqah and I went to Jurong Point on friday for dinner and we had BK cause LJS was fully occupied. Then we walked along the shops and saw this lava lamp which I really fancied but when I asked for a new set the sales person didn't have the colour I wanted. How sad right? yeahh so we walked to Popular and got our notebook =D Soon, it will be written on..heh
On my way back in the mrt I had a call to join a birthday party at pr park so I said why not. It was okay meeting old faces again. Haa, those were the days..
Came back at 4am and slept tru subuh in the morning =/

Went to catch slumdog millionaire with Iqah on Friday. I think it was an excellent show even though there were some details missing. Then we had pasta mania (for the first time) and it was great, besides the fact that we were jakun. hehe. Went to our favourite place to just sit and talk.
That was last Friday. Next Friday is another story to tell.IAllah.

Tomorrow starts the driving marathon..I'm so gonna faint =X

The last supper..

Went out with iqah to catch a movie on Friday. Something unfortunate happened after that. Somehow I feel like I share part of the blame. So I'm going to change that and try to improve things for the better. I hope you understand.

Right after that I met up the guys/girls at Novena Square after missing out on the graduation ceremony. Guess msn screwed up =/ Well I'm glad i decided to meet up with them and catch up after so long. Everyone's doing something productive in their lives except me. Damn, why do my posts always sound so depressing?

Always a first for everything

Yesterday was visit Mak Long Day cum Anwar's birthday celebration. Went to St Andrews Hospital to meet the rest of the aunts and had a small gathering at the canteen downstairs. After that we went to Kak Nong's house. Since it was near Afghanistan restaurant someone suggested to go there for supper and have murtabak hancur. It was great ah cos I really bedal the murtabak sampai tak kasi chance! Right, so other than that I asked mother whether we can go to the pet shop nearby to see the hamsters and guess what?? We actually bought one! Hahah birthday boy helped catch the hamster since the arsehole shop owner didn't want to do it for us (like wtf?)




Okay that was yesterday. So today I went out with....Iqah! hahah yes yes and today isn't like any other time we went out cause it's SUNDAY!! Yup I'm so honoured la pls. We went for blood donation today! kay actually i did, she was there to support me (Thanks!) It was my first time donating so you can imagine the jakun-ness. The seat was so uncomfortable that I had to produce this awkward position and the nurses there keep asking me whether I was alright. Heehee at least i get to save 3 peoples lives okay!! It was an acomplishment since I've been wanting to do this since ages ago. Well the side effect is that you'll feel super tired a few hours later and the only thing you want to do is SLEEP!

Anyway I was away over the weekend. Went to visit my grandparents in KL and kampong in Melaka. Mak Ngahs family (except Kak Huda) came down. Oh and we have an addition to the family - Abang Sam who's Kak Aini's soon to be husband!

Hppy Birthday!!

Updates on 22nd January 2009

Today iqah celebrated her 17th birthday with me :D We went to the Underwater World at Sentosa and iqah got a surprise gift(s) !! It was a great success [wowowo!!] and as a result, we got ourselves a happier, happy birthday girl.heehee I actually can't believe myself doing it cause this kind of thing is always a kind of day dream and to make it into a reality is just too wonderful to describe in words. Then we left for Geylang in search of a CD called "Music for An Arabian Night" by Ron Goodwin. Anyone knows where I can buy this locally in Singapore pleaseeeeeee tag my board. I desperately need that album to complete my soon-to-be revamped room. Anyway, back to the story. If you thought Sentosa was the end, you're so wrong! I had another surprise up my sleeve. We went Bugis to take neoprints! Yes as you can tell from the exclamaition marks, I was very jakun (first-timers excitement) about taking neoprints. Mane tak nye, first time beb. We were so jumpy even before entering the shop la. Tak boleh carry sey the keadaan. After that we tried looking for long skirts but couldn't find anything nice =/ So that was the last activity we did before heading on home.
I pray everyday that you and i have a good future ahead.

Today, 20.December.2009 at 1030am, Boboy died..He's been with the family for 2 years and now he's gone.

The last time I saw him he was frantically grasping for air. But I had to leave for an appointment before I his time came.
He was the best pet hamster we could have asked for.

The rhythm caught my attention while I was surfing through one of the Youtube videos. So I thought of sharing it with you guys! =D

Yesterday I went out with gf to watch Ong Bak2. It's a great movie if you're purely looking for fighting scenes. Don't expect a proper story line because I find this show a no-brainer. Yup, and as always Tony Ja's fighting moves were incredible!! Heard all the moves were choreographed by him :O Hahaha!

Okay so what I liked about the show was the use of different martial arts like kung fu, taiji, sword fighting and muay thai.

What I dislike about the show is the use of different martial arts especially sword fighting aka samurai (??) I mean wth, I was looking forward to muay thai duels and I got a hero whose a samurai? Don't get me wrong, it was a good idea to have a mixed martial arts but I just don't find it right =/ Oh well,tepuk dada tanya selera..I know iqah likes it, right dear? ;)

Hmm now I know why she was so fierce to me today. Haiyoh kids this days, they absorb everything they see on the screen. Heheh but no worries, it makes me love you more =))

So today is going to be a "spend-time-at-home day." Maybe I'll go cycling or what in the evening when it's much cooler. Insyaallah! (This is where having a younger sister can be an advantage =P)

Today was my first day of work..again and again. I have no idea why I keep coming back to them. Maybe its cause of desperation or maybe because its the experience gained previously. I have no idea =/ Oh wells, I'll see how it goes this week. If it doesn't get any better (high chance it wont) I might decide to stop work and just enjoy life before enlistment. I'd rather die in camp with other mates then die slowly where no one hear my cries.
Anyway today went well for the first half of the day until some people had to mess it up. Now I dread more going to work then ever. The memories of IYSC still haunts me till today. Scary.
Today I witnessed and unforeseen event which made me realise how merciful God is to give us many second chances in life. After all He is Ar-Rahman & Ar-Rahim, Most Gracious & Most Merciful.

Zoo Baby!

Hey guys! I went to the zoo yesterday =)) After like AGES la! It feels so good to be one with nature and that special someone again. Well I didn't get to see 2-3 animals but its okay, did manage to see most if not, all the famous exhibits and a wildlife conservation show. Spent 4 hrs in the zoo, it was a killer and it rained for a while but that was the fun part heh. I really enjoyed going to the zoo cause I got to see my favourite animals!! And I got to touch the lemur (one of my fav animals)

What a way to end 2008..
What happened was totally unexpected.
Thought it was going to end nice and smoothly but i was wrong.
Hosnestly speaking, I feel disappointed.
Guess 5 years wasn't long enough to understand one another huh?
Well I hope this friendship doesn't end here and we'll keep trying our best.
