Am I still in Perth?

Travelled to Perth from 26th Sep to 12th Oct, for a study trip. Been hit by post travel withdrawal (PTW) ever since..

So yesterday I had a sudden realization that (PTW) has a disturbingly similar effect to a relationship breakup. Disturbing because a short two and a half week study trip could have the same (or worse) impact as years of being in a relationship. And I've experienced both.

My heart aches at everything I do. From waking up in the morning, taking a shower, having breakfast, packing my bag, all the way to taking a shi...well you get the idea.

This was one of the trip where the post impact was more severe than the trip itself. It came only a day after touching down back in the Motherland. It came hard.

What's worse is that once you realise that you have gotten/beginning to get over PTW, it makes you sad because you are getting over something that was memorable and meaningful. There is no win in this situation.

Troubled heart and peace of mind

So many concerns to address. Decisions to be made.

Prepare for the worse and hope for the best.

Look at the BIGGER picture.

Look ahead.

Turn back to the Almighty for guidance.
